Wednesday 5th 
Julian, Jacqueline, JWM by car, arr 11:30pm. Mike by car. Peter by car (spent night at cottage beyond).

Thursday 6th 
Wetherlam via Red Dell Beck. Very high wind. Return via mines at 284991 and Levers Water. Richard and Gareth by car.

Friday 7th
From Grasmere, Easedale Tarn, Sergant Man, High Raise, Greenup Edge, Far Easedale. Extremely wet, streams overflowing. Peter left. Toby arrived by train. Cass and Cara arrive by car with bikes

Saturday 8th 
High winds broke car windows (Julian, Gareth, Mike) and tree blocked track. JWM, Cara, Cass to Coniston, Walna Scar Road, Crowberry Haws.

Sunday 9th 
All to Kendal (car window repairs). Gareth, Richard, Mike, Toby depart. JWM, Cass, Cara to Rydal, Fairfield Horseshoe clockwise. Very high wind on top and mist (error too far E at first on leaving summit).

Monday 10th 
Cass, Cara bike. JWM, Julian, Jacqueline to Hardknott Pass, Brotherikeld Farm, Throstle Garth, Great Moss, Bield, Little Narrowcove (low cloud), Scafell Pike, rescue box, descent too soon, right as if to Foxes Tarn but found ourselves on Broad Stand. Down by Cam Spout and retraced route to Hardknott. 9am – 5.30pm

Tuesday 11th 
Cass and Cara stayed on a day. JWM, Julian, Jacqueline home. Much flooding and fallen trees in Lakes.
